Roon Labs grundades i januari 2015. Men historien börjar egentligen 10 år tidigare när de startade företaget Sooloos som på den tiden var ett helt unikt, komplett musikserversystem med lagring, uppspelning och ett touchscreen-interface som inte liknande något annat världen tidigare sett.

Fram tills nu har Roon körts på olika typer av hårdvara som till exempel datorer och andra produkter med en processor som kan köra Roons Core-programvara. Men i och med att Roon nu släpper Nucleus så finns det en komplett hårdvarulösning för Roon från Roon själva.

Roon är ett unikt musikbiblioteksystem som inte bara lagrar din musik utan som också hjälper dig att hitta bra musik både i din egen musiksamling och hos strömmningstjänster som TIDAL. På köpet får man en förstklassig signalkälla.

Roon kan sedan distribuera din musik över hela ditt hem via Roon Ready-apparater från olika tillverkare som t ex dCS, Arcam, Naim, KEF eller till Apple Airplay-enheter, Meridian Sooloos-enheter, Devialet AIR-enheter eller Sonos-enheter. Och fler tillkommer löpande!
